Description:
Antonio Villarruel, AIA was selected by Ventura Unified School District to provide district wide ceiling and lighting improvements. The purpose of the project was to retrofit and replace pendant and recessed lighting fixtures to meet FEMA seismic standards, as well as to reduce facility energy consumption through selective modification to the lighting and electrical systems. The work involved installation of T8 lamps, electrical ballast, specular reflectors, compact fluorescent lamps, new light fixtures and some lighting controls. In addition, Antonio Villarruel, AIA also replaced selected suspended ceilings to meet FEMA seismic standards.
