Description:
Rapid growth in the Ocean View School District generated the need for a new classroom wing at Laguna Vista elementary School. Villarruel Architects was selected to design a new classroom wing using modular classroom building. Careful planning and economy were the driving factors for this grouped addition to the school. The buildings were group and oriented to suggest permanent construction and planning uniformity. The project included courtyard improvements with landscaping to blend harmoniously with adjacent buildings offering maximum economy to stretch limited District funds.
